I was installing windows vista by usb as my CD ROM drice wasnt working it failed to complete and now i have no windows it just starts up as a black screen how do i reinstall windows vista?

Go into your bios using the Delete Key or F3 Key (this will be shown as your computer initially starts up.
Find the "Start Up Device Order" or "Boot Device Order"
Verify that the "Hard Drive" option or any device that looks like your hard drive is at the very bottom. If you have options for something like USB or Removable Devices make sure they have priority over whatever Hard Drive you see.
This should allow you to start up off of the USB device and restart a fresh install.
