I was ordering something online and i accidentally put my credit card as visa instead of mastercard and it accepted it and i was wondering if i will i still receive my purchased items.?

Actually Merchant doesn't send card type to the payment gateway. Payment gateway can identify your card type by contacting the card issued bank. Payment gateway can do it by checking your CC number. Most merchant sites use card type only to keep with them (may be for your future purchases,tracking..etc). so don't worry if your transaction was success and merchant is trustworthy you will receive the items.
