If I buy the last of us on PlayStation and then put in the code for multiplayer and get a new PlayStation will I still be able to play multiplayer on the new ps3 or will I need to buy a new code?

You can first try using the old code that you purchased on the new PS3. If it does not work then yes you will then need to purchase a new code for the new PS3.
