When I got my tubes tied my doc warned me about getting tubal pregnancies. You might want to check it out. It could just be the fact that you got your tubes tied. My periods haven't been the same since I got mine tied. yes, i had my tubal and 4 months later my period was 2 months late...i had negative tests...i went to the dr and he said that it was normal, but if it goes beyond 2 months and you are having symptoms, then tests needed to be ran or medication to start your period..he said that even if you have a tubal pregnancy, that you will most likely have a positive test..

is it normal to leak milk at five months of pregnancy?

Even though tubal ligation is an extremely effective method of birth control with a less than 1% failure rate, there is still a chance of pregnancy with any birth control method. Missing 3 periods is definitely an indication for taking a pregnancy test. The chance of an ectopic pregnancy is much higher after a tubal ligation but carrying a normal pregnancy is still possible.

yes you can....my cousin had a tubal and proceeded to get pregnant and have a healthy child a year later

A normal pregnancy lasts 10 months since it's 40 weeks.

Yes it could be a negative reading , you should take another one after two months and match the reports.

The tubal ligation you had in the past, would only interfere with conception not a current pregnancy. Since you already are pregnant, the previous ligation should not cause any problem to your developing baby.Since a baby implants in the uterus and not the tube, the ligation is a non-issue with a developing fetus.

It depends on the context. A negative pregnancy test or negative culture means pregnancy hormone or sought-for pathogen were not found. A negative x-ray means normal. A pertinent negative is a "no" answer in the history that helps narrow the diagnosis. (For instance, a woman with no period for six months reports no intercourse with a man in ten years. That's a pertinent negative.)

A pap smear does not have a negative effect on pregnancy. It is a normal, safe part of the prenatal care plan.

It is a possibility. While tubal ligations are near 100% effective at preventing future conception, very rarely a pregnancy will occur (approximately 1.4% failure rate). Often, if a woman does conceive, it results in an ectopic pregnancy. But, if your doctor deems the pregnancy to be normal and in the uterus where it should be, then your pregnancy-after-tubal-ligation should go just fine. As far as being 3 days late, re-test again in 2 or 3 days. If it is still negative and no period, call your doctor as something else may be to blame.

It is normal for this to happen during pregnancy. Your doctor will not treat this. He will say it is normal for you.

A normal full term pregnancy is approximately 9 months for a human.

Your doctor will be able to tell if the baby is implanted in the correct place. The risk of ectopic pregnancy is 12.5% for women who have had a tubal ligation--but chances of pregnancy are much less to begin with.

Yes, but it would be extremely rare, unless your tubal ligation has come undone. The chance of the pregnancy being normal are lower, and the chance that it is an ectopic or tubal pregnancy is much higher than normal.

Usually it's normal to spot up to 4 months of your pregnancy. However, some women spot throughout their entire pregnancy and have no problems.

Breast leaking in pregnancy usually doesn't occur until at least 5 months pregnant. I would say you are safe on the pregnancy part but I'd go to the gyno if you are leaking, and have not recently had a child.

I am 31 years old and a mother of four. I had a c-section and a tubal ligation after I had my 4th daughter. I feel very bloated on my stomach and look six months pregnant. I feel this has got to do with the tubal ligation that I've had. Anyone who can help me out or who has the same symptoms?

yes! i went 4 whole months through pregnancy. with out knowing. still having my normal periods each month. i took a test just because the feeling was starting to feel uncomfortable, and guess what.. it was negative! i finally went to the doctor.. sure enough i was 4/ almost 5 months!! wow

Spotting at mid-cycle could be a sign of just about anything from pregnancy, to a fibroid tumor, or other medical conditions. In short, check with your OB-GYN.

Np. It is not normal to have braxton hicks contractions as early as four months during pregnancy.

Normal human gestation period is 40 weeks.

Yes, providing they are not severe or come with blood.

Donkeys are notorious for not producing their foals on their due date. The average is 12 months (a horse's pregnancy is 11 months) but 11-13 months is normal. If the donkey is carrying a hinny foal, the average is 11.5 months.

yes, it is very normal to bleed during the first 3 months of pregnancy. don't worry.

Your menstrual pattern four months after IUD removal is not related to the IUD. Take a pregnancy test, since your period in the fourth month without birth control was only spotting. If you continue to have spotty periods even with a negative pregnancy test, you can call your health care provider for advice if it's concerning to you.
