light sensor
In my 2004 GMC Canyon, the ambient light sensor is mounted at the right side of the dashboard. It is mounted below the dashboard and has a lens on the surface so that it can measure the ambient light that reaches the sensor through the windshield.
its the tyre pressure sensor
There is possibly a light sensor if it has auto headlamps. or a temp sensor for climate control
Check that a door sensor isn't broken. When you are in the car and all the doors are closed and the car is on, check if the light on the dashboard that signals that a door is open is lit. If it is the sensor switch will need to be fixed on whichever door is broken. On the second generation Clio, the interior light can be switched between the main light and a movable spotlight. Carefully moving the switch to between the two modes will turn off the interior light.
there are 2 lights that come on the dashboard 1 is the coolant indicator light that comes on if the coolant level is low or the sensor is bad. The other light is from the windshield washer reservoir level being low or a faulty sensor.
If the abs light on a 4 wheel MX6 dashboard comes on, it is due to faulty abs sensor. It may also be due to a faulty rotor.
it indicates that it is time to change the pads for the disc brakes, the light comes on when the sensor is activated
The dash light dimmer switch is turned off or broken.
i know im a girl and im only 14 and all but there is a light level sensor built into the LCM which will make the dashboard lights dimmer in high quantities of light and make them brighter in the dark. there is a little dot just above your light switch knob which is the sensor. i don't actually think you can adjust them though
if you are talking about the automatic sensor that automatically turns the lights on and off, it is on the dashboard probably in between the defroster vents it is probably a small plastic or glass bubble usually you have to remove a large portion of the dashboard to replace it
The powertrain control module has detected a malfunction - could just be a sensor problem
