The problem may be that you have a bad idle air control vale, a bad throttle position sensor, a dirty e.g.r. valve, a stretched timing chain and gears.

WAS A COIL PACK ON MY 1992 CORSICA possibilities as simple as a complete tune up. Check the fuel filter. It may not be getting enough fuel. Or could be clogged injectors. the problem could be caused by a sticky idle control motor
