If the person is illegal because he overstayed a visa, then yes, he can adjust status and become "legal." If the person is illegal because he snuck into the United States, then he cannot become legal without first leaving the country. Having "US citizen children" or being the "only worker in the family" is irrelavent to the case. The wife will need to prove that she can support him at 125% of the poverty level in order for him to immigrate, so being "the only worker in the family" probably weighs more negatively than positivlely in the case.
Yes. If the illegal immigrant marries a citizen, they can become a citizen from that.

Yes, a person can marry an illegal immigrant, but that doesnt mean that it will lead to the immigrant getting legal status.
NO!
It is legal in the United States for an illegal immigrant to marry a US citizen. Once the marriage is legal, the illegal immigrant becomes a legal immigrant and can stay in the US for the course of the marriage.
No, the children do as current law stands, but the parent is not considered legal.
The illegal immigrant can take his United States citizen son to Mexico; however, it is highly likely that the illegal father will be detained at customs due to his lack of citizenship.
Well the baby is a U.S. Citizen and since the baby is a U.S. Citizen, in time the "illegal immigrant" may be able to get a green card and first of all an illegal immigrant isn't illegal if they have a visa, except if they were living and working in the U.S on a tourist visa,
No.
