If the disease is recessive, then , depending on if the wife's backgroung, if she's a carrier, meaning, she can have the trait but it is masked by a dominant one then the chance is25 percent they will get it, 50 theyll carry but won't suffer and 25 it won't exist within them.If she doesn't carry, the kid won't sufferbut has a fifty percent chance of carrying it. You on the other hand definitely carry it, because it's recessive, meaning she passed it on no matter what. So those are the chances. 25 at worst. I recommend having your wife tested whether she suffers from it or not. She can be like you.
