∙ 13y agoMy answer is not based on research, but yes, I am positive cigarette smoke can cause severe vomiting. I have been through it twice.
Without all the details, I can say it was caused by personally smoking tobacco. I am so NOT a smoker, I never have been. A few years ago I had tried to share a cigarette with a friend. Within an hour I was over the toilet for a day and a half. Everything I could smell or taste literally made me run to the bathroom.
The second time was last weekend. I went out with a group of girlfriends and again, smoked a half a cigarette. This time I was drinking, and honestly didn't even remember smoking. But the next morning there I was again, hugging the john.
The weirdest part was this last time, I developed more sever symptoms, which turned into an awful head cold. I feel like I can't breath very well and my head is throbbing off and on. My nose feels stuffed up, but I barely feel the need to blow it. I really feel awful. I am patiently waiting for it to all go away.
