I think I found a solution (I've only tested it on one single website which has the right mouse button disabled): Double click on the picture but don't release the mouse buttin after the second click. Now drag the item/picture a bit and release the mouse button again (just as if you'd like to move a file in windows with drag&drop). Now there should open a new tab/window which just contains the picture you want to save. Now just do the usual right-click-->save picture... I just found a much better solution: "If a dialog box opens whenever you right-click, could can often get around it by the following sequence:
Hold the right mouse button, hit enter to close the dialog box, and then release the right mouse button."
