Pregnancy is dated by adding 2 weeks to the weeks that you are.. for example.. if you are 11 weeks then you actually concieved 9 weeks ago.. they actually count pregnancy from your last menstrual period, even though you were not actually pregnant for about 2 more weeks..

If an ultrasound showed you were 19 weeks 2 days pregnant can you count back to see when you conceived?

Ultrasound gives an estimate of the age of the foetus. At this stage of the pregnancy, it's quite accurate, but it's still only an estimate, and the date of conception could be a few days, even a week, away from the date 19 weeks and 2 days ago.

If your scan showed you were 6 weeks pregnant when did you conceive?

The statement that you are six weeks pregnant means that you have been pregnant for six weeks, hence, you conceived six weeks ago. Bear in mind that these are estimates, they are not necessarily accurate down to the exact day. But they are reasonably good estimates.

How you can count how many week you have when you are pregnant?

You can estimate by measuring fundal height and using Naegel's rule or have an ultrasound to detect age of pregnancy.

When given a dating ultrasound do you need to subtract two weeks for an actual date?

When you have a dating ultrasound you are given an EDD (estimated date of delivery) If you count back 40 weeks from this date it should be about when your last period was. If you do not have a regular cycle they may not correlate exactly. 38weeks back from your EDD is approximately when you conceived.

Every ultrasound my due date changes but only a few days apart. I need to know exactly when I conceived because I was with more than one person and dont remember my lmp?

Due dates are only estimates... All you can do is count 38 weks back from the due date to get the best guess on when the baby was conceived.

If your baby is born on feb 2 when did you get pregnant?

You have count 266 days backward. That is the likely date of you getting conceived. Delivery takes place 280 days after last date of periods.

Can you count back the weeks of your pregnancy from a dating scan to see when you may have conceived if your LMP is unknown?

I just had a child and I had no idea when my last MP was or when around he was conceived, but if you know already how old around the fetus is, then you can get somewhat of an idea, but it won't be exact. Yes. If you count back two weeks less than the length of your pregnancy, that is approximately when you conceived. For example if your dating scan says you are 10 weeks pregnant, counting back 8 weeks will give you your approximate date of conception.

How do you find out when i was conceived?

From your birthdate, count backwards about 37 weeks. That will give you a rough idea.

What does an ultrasound that said I was 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant on Wednesday Jan 25 2006 mean?

You conceived 5 weeks and 4 days earlier, sometime around 17 December. hello I am not providing an answer but a question- why do you take off 2 weeks to determine conception date?I am 5wks1day pregnant does that mean I should think i am really 3 wks1day pregnant? am having a hardtime figuring this out as I have pcos and my periods are irregular so I dont really know the length of my cycle- but if i count back 5 wksi got pregnant a day ot two after my lasperiod stopped so it would makemore sense if u do take off 2 weeks..Thanks!

Ultrasound showed 20 weeks four days when did I conceive?

Erm ... 20 weeks and four days ago ... Dohh!! Look at a calendar and count backwards 20 weeks, then backwards 4 days - there is your estimated date of conception.

When did you conceive if your ultrasound said you were 19 weeks and 4 days?

It would be around 8 weeks before the ultrasound date, since you are not actually pregnant for the first two weeks. Pregnancies are dated from your last period. So period on day one, conceive around 14 days after that and therefore '2 weeks pregnant' at that date of conception.

How do you calculate the day on which you got pregnant?

Your pregnancy is considered to have started on the first day of the cycle in which you got pregnant. Since most women have a 28-day cycle and they conceived around the 14th day, you are technically considered 2 weeks pregnant at the time of conception. Therefore, by the time you find out you are pregnant (you've noticed you missed your period, pregnancy test is positive) you are considered about 4 weeks pregnant. hope this is what you were looking for.
