No, I have tried this and sodas like coke spew a lot more then ones like Sprite, all bought at the same time, kept at the same temp. and general conditions. I believe it has to do with the formula and ingredients. Not even the SAME brand of soda will be the same. One of the principles in science and engineering is that nothing is the same at larger scales. Are two loaves of bread the same? No. Are two pieces of pie the same? No. Other than that different sodas have different ages, different formulas, and thus won't be the same. Similar yes..!

The level of carbonation in packaged soft drinks varies by the packaging (glass, can, plastic) and even by bottle size. It is only precisely consistent for a product within a given manufacturing plant, and within a batch prepared for bottling.

However, some sodas have ingredients that are matched to a certain level of carbonation, for flavor purposes. If the package, temperature, and agitation are the same, you will see reasonably consistent results.

No, assuming equal volume and shaking, it depends on the the CO2 content initially dissolved in the soda. More CO2 is more bubbles produced, results in more 'spewing'
