The serial number is the bike's version of your car's VIN. With it you can check if the bike has been reported stolen. For high-end bikes it can also be used to track original point of sale, and maybe even first owner.
should not have 2 sets of serial numbers. the only serial number should be located on the right side of the frame just above trigger. there is no serial number on the slide unless someone put a number on the slide.....................
A 9.8 hp Mercury outboard, serial number 5207425, would be a 1979 year model.
The key would not be the serial number - rather, it would be the series (or "date") of the bill, the Federal Reserve district for which it was produced, and the condition of the bill that would be indicators of value.
Without a detailed description, someone would have to research every serial number of every model of revolver Colt ever made.
You would put the engine serial number under "Equipment Serial Number"
You can find the trend micro serial number by accessing the Trend Micro Program Console, the Find my order website and the Trend Micro Account website.

To answer your question would require getting all the serial number records for all the makers that ever made any shotgun. If you provide the maker and model number, someone might be able to answer itl.
Would you give us a clue? What exactly is this serial number on?
With that serial number it would be a 1986.
Your question is rather vague- however- by chance did you see an internet question where someone asked about a JC Higgins rifle or shotgun- that had YOUR serial number? Unfortunately, there is a simple answer. That is NOT a serial number, but a Sears model number. Prior to 1968, serial numbers were not required by law on rifles and shotguns. Sears marked their guns with a model number- such as 583.134. Thousands of people have taken that to be a serial number. If this is what happened- sorry. If this did not answer, please contact me through my answers.com message board.
I would have to have your Winchester model number along with the serial number to answer your question correctly.
