You can change the battery by removing the plastic covers around it and then theres a small metal bracket located on the front side of the battery with one bolt holding it down. You'll need a long extension to reach it.
battery size for 2005 Hyundai elentra
1997 Hyundai Elantra Battery Size: L4/1.8 battery (12V)
The Hyundai Elantra uses a lead type acid battery. Its battery life can last from three years to five years.
If a 1997 Hyundai Tiburon will not start and the battery is good, the reason why it will not crank or turn over could be the starter. It could also be that the timing belt is broken. The motor could have also seized up due to a piston breaking. Also check the fan belt.
The 2005 Hyundai Accent came equipped with the 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. The battery group size (BCI) for this application is 121R.

i disable mine by leaving the key in the ignition in the on position without turning the car on for 30 min. doing this disables it for me but if u ever remove the battery or it goes flat u will have to do this again as it resets when the battery is reconnected / replaced.

i have tried napa, advanced auto parts, auto zone, battery warehouse, noone had a battery for my 2007 Hyundai accent but CARQUEST did have it and said it is a newer and rare battery at this time ....1/4/2010
The battery for all 2007 Hyundai Accents is a "group 35". However, any battery you buy from an aftermarket source is not going to fit properly in the rear of the battery tray when bracketed down from the front. The battery will not be wide enough front to back to fit securely and you run the risk of the battery tipping forward during sudden braking or frontal impact. You will need to go to the dealership for the proper fitment for your 2007 Hyundai Accent. Figure spending approximately $100 for the battery before installation.
With my xg 300, the radio was turning on and off on it's own. I checked the battery and it was bad. Replaced it. Now it's fine again. Go to auto parts store and have your battery checked just in case. Could also be loose battery cables.
A battery is only an electrical storage device. If the battery is faulty it will not be able to store electrical energy. On the other hand, if the battery is ok, it could be discharged because the alternator cannot create sufficient energy to keep the battery charged. If you are able to charge the battery the problem is in the alternator or an electrical connection. If you can't charge the battery, go ahead and change it. However, replacing a good battery will only make the vehicle run briefly. If the charging system isn't working a new battery won't solve the problem.
Where do I send my garmin c330 to have the battery replaced as it will not charge.Thanks.
