If the dash lights went out and it is not the fuse because some of the lights like the seatbelt light come on what is wrong?

from what i know there are separate fuses for the left side lights and the right side lights so it might be a fuse

warning lights on dash mean something is wrong u would have a generator light a temp , and an oil light

If the check engine lights are on, that means that there is something wrong. A mechanic can check and tell what is wrong with the car.

yes because in the earliear ages there was no light so now there is light and it is new and it is bright from seeing darkness wich makes them get attracted to light. [i am not sure about my anserw because i havent asked anyone about it so if someone thinks i am wrong please let my know.] Thanks for reading this

=I don't know about the brake lights. I know that most cars, when you turn it off and get out, the head lights and main backlights stays on for a while but then goes off. The brake lights? Maybe it's the way that car is or something is wrong with the brake or you have it on wrong.=

I have that same problem with a 2001 tacoma no power rear tail lights brake light works and nothing for dash lights i need answers i am stumped Any real answers to this please???

You need to determine what exactly is wrong with them first. That's called diagnosis. The problem is either in the light itself, or in the supply of power to the light.

get it checked, because if the ligt blinks, something is wrong.

the iso plug (black connectors) are wired up wrong, it has given the light circuit a constant live

This is just a guess, but: probably because something is wrong with the wiring of your car. You should have a mechanic look at it.

What year is the Ford Explorer ? There could be a separate fuse for the lower brake lights

brake light switch bad check for continuity at the fuse then the switch, but yeah bad switch. Kongkit Raggan-Supatanampon
