If the heater on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis keeps heating and does not shut down at the temperature you have selected is there a thermostat that you can change?

PossibleThe thermostat is located on the top of the engine - just follow the top radiator hose to the top of the engine. When you remove that hose you'll the thermostat.

Do you have the Automatic Climate Control?
