Just an observation, sometimes the simplest solution is the easiest. You might try moving the locked wheel (it oughta move a little) while trying to turn the key. Sometimes the anti-theft device seems to put pressure on the ignition. By manipulating the wheel in conjuction with turning the key, it might "snap out of it".

If your wheels are turned and your steering wheel is locked and you can't turn your key, try turning the steering wheel further in the direction that the wheels are facing and turn the key at the same time. It will be hard to turn, but you only have to move it a tiny bit and your key should turn.
