Toyota Camry

If the wheels are aligned and the rotors turned and you have new wheels what else could be causing a Toyota Camry to wobble while driving?

I had a similar problem on my Mitsubishi Galant when I bought new Mags. It seems that a plastic bushing is needed on the HUB to center the wheel. This happens, sometimes, with after market wheels. Hope this helps. bad tires or improper tire balance could cause wobbling.

There will be a pulsating on braking.

as long is they are not dug into the rotor its normal after driving to get lines or marks on the rotors and drums

Warped rotors. Driving using the left foot to brake causes the rotors to heat up. Quenching the hot rotors by driving thru water will cause them to warp. The warped rotors cause the pedal to pulsate.

I have replaced the front disc brake rotors, pads and the rear drums and shoes with new components on my 1994 Toyota Celica ST. The auto transmission is operating well. What could be making a rotational noise?

When changing the brake rotors on a 1990 Toyota 4runner the vehicle must be safely raised and propped up. The calipers must be loosen and rotors will be able to be removed. The process must be repeated for all four wheels.

calipers may not be depressing all the way , causing the brakes to drag and heat up rotors causing them to warp + another possibility is tightening down the rotor TOO tight onto the hub- or - not having it turned and rubbing uneven- good idea to turn the rotors onn each brake change if you have been just leaving the rotors on- and changing pads- this may be the issue- 2dynamic

Most IS 250s, depending on driving, get about 25000-30000 miles on the front brakes and rotors.

It depends on year of production. Newer models have 4 rotors. Older models have have only 2. You can easily find out by checking your wheels.

how to replace break pads on 2001 4runner

Get new front brake rotors, there cheap.

Depending on the pads, around $150 for front or rear, and depending on the car, around $250 for the rotors.

Because the front rotors are warped. You might want to replace the rotors or resurface it.

Could be the tires, or your front brake rotors

To replace the pads, just remove the calipers, retract the pistons, and set nre pads in place of the old ones. To replace the rotors, remove the old ones and set new rotors in their place. Before driving the vehicle, repeatedly depress the brake pedal several times until it feels firm like it works. Make sure you spray the new rotors with brake parts cleaner thuroughly after you install them!

WELL, I HAVE A 2005 TOYOTA SUV AND I JUST HAD MY FRONT ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS REPLACED AND IT COST ME 325.00. If you do it your self it is about 140.00

Your break pads/shoes and/or rotors has to be replaced. Some rotors can be repolished and used in the future.

$450 at dealer. Rotors are $140 each. $50 per rotor plus 1 hour labor at independent mechanic. Buy good rotors yourself and give to mechanic to be sure of quality and avoid parts overcharge.

One or both front brake rotors warped.(overheated) take off and have both re-surfaced ("turned") or if beyond 'trueing-up' then replace them both. About 25.00 ea. (new)

if you are driving and you go to stop, then that means that the front rotors are warped. if the front rotors are bad, you will feel a pulsation in pedal while applying brakes. change rotors on front.

If it is a Toyota, they do not know how to fix the squeaking brakes either. Even after replacing all the pads and machining the rotors and rear drums

Propellors are on airplanes. Helicopters call them rotors. The small rotor on the back of the helicopter is used to counteract the torque created from the engine driving the main rotors.
