Assuming that you have the N64 Expansion Pak, yes. However, no Pokémon, items, or moves from Generation II can be transferred to Yellow. You might be able to get away with giving a Generation II item to a Pokémon and trading it to Yellow, but considering the fact that Pokémon couldn't hold items prior to Generation II, it wouldn't do any good.
