If you are a 17-year-old female and are 5'3'' and your mom is 5'6'' and your dad is 6'4'' can inversion sit ups help you gain 2-3 inches in height and what do you recommend?
No exercise will help you gain height. You're 17, though and can still grow up until you are 21 or so. Chances are, with taller parents in your gene pool, you *will* still gain some height My Mother is 5'7 and my Dad is 6'0. I'm 5'11 but my older sister is "only" 5'6.
The height of a person depends on many factors like genetics, race, and age. The average height for a white female in the US is around 5'5". For an African-American female, the average height is around 5'4.5". For a Mexican-American female, the average height is around 5'2.5". On average for the entirety of the country, the average height for an adult female in the US is between 5'4" and 5'4.5".
A temperature inversion is when the temperature rises with height in the troposphere rather than decreasing, as it typically does. This is most common at the surface, particularly at higher latitudes on cold mornings. It isn't dangerous to my knowledge, except perhaps specific interests in aviation for example.
Normally, the temperature in the troposphere decreases with height. In an inversion, it increases. There are several reasons that this can happen, but some results include increased pollution in the summer, and particularly cold mornings in the fall and winter when your cell phone may have some trouble with reception.
Temperatures fall with height in a thunderstorm cell. Temperatures generally fall with height in the atmosphere unless there's an inversion present (and those lead to a stable atmosphere not favorable for thunderstorm development)....So if there's thunderstorms present, temperatures should be falling with height.
