If you got a flat tire on a 1991 Eclipse and now it will not start but the engine buzzes what could be wrong?

Try the battery...sounds like it may be dead....

If your tire blew out, a piece of it could have torn the wires out from your rear oxygen sensor. This *can* make the computer think that something catastrophic happened and it then disables your fuel pump. This would make your engine turn over when you try to start it, but not start.

Look under your car relatively close to the rear driver side tire, and if there are wires hanging down then you need to replace your sensor. Be sure to specify at the auto parts store that it is the REAR O2 sensor.

NOTE: 91 Eclipses DO NOT have 2 O2 sensors. There is only one on the O2 housing by the engine.
