well this is a combinations question and m not good at them bt m giving a try 12C3 x 3 = 660 ?? I hope this is "at least three per person." If the criteria is "each person gets only three, and none are left over," it can't be done--you can't pass out only nine of anything if you have twelve to pass out. So let's see... 1. You eat three, then give three to each of three people. 2. You give each person four. 3. You give two people three and one person six. 4. One person gets three, one four and the third gets five.
