theoretically you can, but their average is about 3.3 GPA, and their average ACT is a 21. you have a shot if you apply very early and have a higher than 21 on the ACT.

im a senior in high school near metro Detroit, i had a 3.4 and 26 on the act and i was accepted, good luck to you! Also, i just found out very recently that GVSU is the 2nd hardest school in Michigan to be accepted to, with UofM-Ann Arbor being the first.

Like he said but i have a different story, I had a 2.8 GPA and a 23 on the ACT and even than i was almost wait listed.

It largely depends on your SAT and/or ACT scores, but with a 2.5 GPA you should still be able to get into many open admission colleges. Although if you don't maintain a certain GPA after admission into college, you can be placed on probation or even suspended or expelled from the college if your grades aren't high enough. You can also consider community college, which offers some great fields of education based on your career choice.

Getting into most colleges with a 2.5 grade point average can be challenging. You may be able to get into the state university in your state of residence. You can also attend a community college and take classes that will transfer to another school when you are ready. Use that time to bring your grades up.

there are very rare exceptions

3.16 -- 3.33 is probable

so 2.5 is maybe a 6% chance

Likely not, Cal Poly is highly selective. Unless you have killer SAT scores and loads of extra curriculars, it will be difficult.

What GPA requires for suny at binghamton?

There are no GPA requirements for admission to Binghamton University, however, here is the GPA information from their website... The middle 50% of admitted students have GPAs between 91-96 un-weighted. That means half of their accepted applicants have a 91-96. 25% have below a 91, and 25% have above a 96. In short, 75% of applicants have a 91 and above.
