If you have an Earthbound Immortal monster can you attack an opponent's monster or do you have to attack directly?

They 'can' attack directly, meaning they are free to attack the opponent's monsters instead if you wish.

What if you have an earthbound immortal face up and face down and the face down one is attacked or your opponent plays somthing like Swords of Revealing Light?

If your opponent attacks a face-down Earthbound Immortalmonster, continue through all of the steps of a battle (Battle Step and Damage Step). After the Damage Step has concluded, if there is no face-up Field Spell Card, the Earthbound Immortal is destroyed. If your opponent activated Swords of Revealing Light, flip the Earthbound Immortal monster face-up. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card, all of the Earthbound Immortalmonsters are destroyed.

How can you activate Earthbound Immortal Cusillu's last effect if he can not be an attack target?

Even though Earthbound Immortal Cusillu can not be attacked by the opponent, the controller of this monster can attack an opponent's attack position monster. After attacking with Cusillu and calculating any damage you receive in battle, you may tribute another monster you control and reduce your opponent's Life Point in half. This all takes place during the Damage Step and the tribute is treated as an effect, not a cost.

If the only monster on your side of the field is an earthbound immortal can your opponent attack you directly?

While the answer would be 'yes' if we were talking about Legendary Fisherman + Umi, or Guardian Kay'est, it has been ruled differently for the Earthbound Immortals. You may not declare a direct attack in this case, even if the player's only monster is an Earthbound Immortal.

What happens in Yu-Gi-Oh if 'Confusion Chaff' is activated and an 'Earthbound Immortal' made the first direct attack?

Confusion Chaff will resolve as normal. Note that Earthbound Immortals say "The opponent cannot select this monster as an attack target" - this is not happening here. The opponent is not declaring any attacks against your Earthbound Immortal.

When your opponent attacks another monster while you have Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu on the field can you activate Shift and make your opponent attack Ccapac Apu?

Is it a bad idea to add Earthbound Immortals to a non-Earthbound Immortal deck?

Earthbound monsters are good for most decks as long as the deck meets these basic requirements:There is an ample supply of field cards in the deck!Earthbounds are destroyed if there is no face-up Field Spell card. No field cards, no Earthbounds. There is a good amount of tribute fodder (monsters available for Tribute Summoning). However, having cards that can help Special Summon them (or any other monster for that matter) is a major plus.Adding an Earthbound monster(s) doesn't break the flow of your deck or side track from the deck's winning strategy. In other words, does the Earthbound monster(s) you want to add inhibit your deck. If you have a strategy of winning by attacking, all of the Earthbounds are great since they all can attack directly. If your deck is centered on stalling and/or burning the opponent, Earthbounds can help stall since they can't be attacked, but if you want to make them count use ones that can be multipurpose. For example, "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu" can stall since it can't be attacked, but if your opponent (or you) decides to remove it from the field, it can burn your opponent as well.

What monster defeated yusei when he was deuling calin?

If you had an Earthbound Immortal monster out and there is a field card in play and you or your opponent plays another field card thus destroying the other card will the earthbound be destroyed?

If your opponent had an active Field Spell Card, and you activate another Field Spell Card, the Earthbound Immortalwould not be destroyed. If you had an active Field Spell Card, and you activate another Field Spell Card, the original Field Spell Card is destroyed before you place the new Field Spell Card, therefore providing a gap between the time that there is a Field Spell Card, and when there is not. In this scenario, the Earthbound Immortal is destroyed.

What happen if a monster is cannot be selected as an attack target?

ah, my specialty. Well, that depends. Does your opponent use compulsory evacuation device (i think) when you attack them? Because then the attack is negated. If a player controls one monster, and this monster can't be selected as an attack target, then you may attack directly. So one situation will be if the player has Umi and The Legendary Fisherman, or Guardian Kay'est. These can be ignored, and a direct attack can be made. However - this does not apply if the one monster is an Earthbound Immortal. If a player only controls one monster, and this is an Earthbound Immortal, then he cannot be attacked in the same way, the monster cannot be bypassed, monsters will simply be unable to attack. This is a specifically ruled difference, though without explanation from Konami. If the player controls two unattackable monsters, then again, player and monsters are safe from being attacked. No attacks can be declared against any of them unless circumstances change.

What is Cusillu's effect yu-gi-oh?

There can only be 1 "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. This card can attack your opponent directly. If this face-up card you controlwould be destroyed by battle, you can Tribute 1 other monster you control instead, and halve your opponent's Life Points.
