If you have a period but is lighter than ususal and a pregnancy test is negative can you still be pregnant?

Tests done at this stage are usually quite accurate. Unless you've used a cheap brand, I'd retest in a few days and see a doctor if the result is still negative but the periods continue to be different to usual or there are other signs you are worried about.
