There's no need for an IUD if you're already pregnant. The IUD is not normally inserted if there's a possibility of pregnancy, although Paragard may be used as emergency contraception for sex that happened in the last five days. If you find that you're pregnant with the IUD in place, contact your health care provider, who will remove the IUD. That may result in miscarriage; if not, you can decide whether you want to continue or end the pregnancy.
This is not uncommon with the hormone secreting IUD, especially in the the first few months. If your period is 7 days late get a pregnancy test.
When iud is still is in it does not allow pregnancy.
No
no cause you dont get a period while pregnant
Fertility returns to your baseline after removal of the IUD. Whether it's easy to get pregnant after removal depends on your fertility, not the IUD.
It's not likely that the IUD removal affected your fertility.
The doctor can't see if you are pregnant while inserting an IUD. Your health care provider will ask questions and probably do a urine pregnancy test to make sure that you are not getting an IUD when you are already pregnant.
First of all, if the IUD is overdue, it's probably stopped working. And yes....it probably does mean your pregnant. Look for other signs like:It's hard or painfull to bend over Your stomach starts to get biggerYour breasts seem biggerMood swings and cravingsCramps and feelings of nausiaIf you are still unsure, buy a pregnancy test or go to your docter. Please remember to remove that IUD! Thanx!
You can, but it's very rare. Often, women spot during the first few days/weeks of pregnancy at around the time when their period would have been because the fertilised egg implants in the womb lining and ruptures some blood vessels and many women mistake this for their period.
Pregnancy on the IUD is unusual. Bleeding with the IUD is not a special sign of pregnancy. If you think you might be pregnant, take a pregnancy test.
A positive pregnancy test is the sign of pregnancy with an IUD.
You should remove your IUD if you want to get pregnant, if you are pregnant, or if its useful life is expired and it's time to replace it.
There is no special risk from getting pregnant right after you stop using the IUD.
Not likely but yes. My sister got pregnant with the IUD in and she had had it for over three years.
