If you have done really bad things will God still love you?
The Bible's answer:
Jesus' words at Matthew 5:43-45 - "You heard that it was said: 'You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you, so that you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise on both the wicked and the good and makes it rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous."
As we can see from this verse, yes God still loves you even if you have done really bad things. He also commands his followers to love those who do bad things as well. After describing various things that God considers bad and commands his followers to not do them, the Bible then says these words at 1 Corinthians 6:11 - "And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God."
God has made it possible for you to be forgiven based on the ransom sacrifice of Jesus, a great act of love shown for all mankind. (John 3:16)
