Usually bleeding and cramping is not a good sign, everyone has a different pregnancy. You can be just going through the motions of your organs shifting, to make way for your new growth.

Answer

I had the same symptoms. During my 3rd week, is when I had the bad period-like cramps. I am almost 7 weeks now, and sometimes still have mild cramps and feel like my period is coming. The doctor said the cramping is just the uterus stretching, and as long as there is no bleeding things are fine, but everyone is different so see your doctor.

Sounds just like a period. Unless you know for certain you are pregnant--then see your Dr.

Hi there. Its unlikely to be a miscarriage hun. Your most likely experiencing heavy break through bleeding or the dosage of pills aren't strong enough and this can also cause bleeding and sharp tummy pains. But to be certain about the pregnancy, buy a pregnancy test and do it. Do it while your bleeding and if its positive go to hospital for a scan.

User Avatar

Not exactly. Some women have bleeding in the first month of two of pregnancy, but it is not technically a period. Also, if you have heavy bleeding during pregnancy, you might actually be having a miscarriage.
