the red coolant is only used in some GM models. you can use green only if it specifies that it can be used in GM vehicles.
It depends. If your car uses the special long-life coolant dex-cool (orange) no immediate damage with normal 50 water 50 antifreeze. However, according to GM for my Oldsmobile Intrigue doing this would reduce the suggested coolant maintenance point from 150,000 miles down to 30,000 miles. If your car uses normal (green) anti-freeze and you were to use dex-cool it could permanently damage the vehicle since the particles not designed for the vehicle will always remain. So what did the manufacturer suggest as optimal and what did you put? And what do you consider as damage? Introducing a hassle or complete breakage?
Well for one thing youtube does that because they have crappy quality. Personally I would just look up how to put your videos in HQ and put that because it increases the quality and it wont turn as green as it was. hope this info helps you
An adjective is a describing word. It is put infringe of a noun. There are heaps for vehicle! Big vehicle, small vehicle, purple vehicle. didn't u learn this at school:P
well when you put it on there is a tiny button like thing near the top when you put it on get the pen that goes with it and touch that button and then if it goes green its on touch mode so its like a ginormous touch computer....
At the radiator or overflow tank. Do not add water, add coolant.
Yes
No. Apparently it makes a gel.
Rdrah states Green....Sorry, Rdrsh, but you got it wrong. Most 2000 Dodge Grand Caravans will have a collar around the cap, which states it's a special coolant. The coolant that they are referring to is a Red HOAT-type coolant. Do NOT put regular green coolant in the vehicle with this warning collar, 'cause you can damage the engine.
the coolant goes in the reservoir on the passenger fender. use a 50 percent water to 50 percent green coolant to fill it.
No, do not mix types or colors.
After coolant is added run vehicle to normal operating temperature and re-check coolant level
Faceing the car.On the left hand side you have a engine coolant reservoir bottle. If you are just going to add some coolant.Make sure when adding coolant it is a 50/50 mixture.Do not add engine coolant when the engine is hot. The cooling system in your vehicle is filled with Ford Extended Life Coolant F6AZ-19544-AA.DO NOT MIX WITH A GREEN-COLORED COOLANT.

Fill the vehicle with coolant and leave the filler cap off. Start the vehicle and keep adding fluid as the coolant level drops. When the motor is warm enough for the thermostat to open up you will see the coolant level drop quickly. Put in more coolant until it is full then shut off the motor and put the filler cap back on.
If it's an older vehicle - no. But a newer vehicle might just be clever enough to monitor the coolant level and refuse the engine to be run empty.
You would add coolant (not water) to the vehicle's reservoir when it is off and cooled down. Fill it to the cold line.
Check to verify the coolant level is full. If the vehicle has a engine coolant temperature guage, does it reach and maintain a normal temperature duing vehicle operation? If not have a mechanic check for a leaking head gasket.
