You start the 'pill' as per the printed instructions that came with the prescribed medication and nothing else. You must follow those directions to the letter in order to afford maximum protection. There is no margin for error.

The day that you start your Birth Control is judged by the natural timing of your menstrual cycle. As soon as you start to play around with it you are risking problems. I would have a word with a health professional that deals in these things before doing anything like that.

Yes.As long as you take the pill the same time every night it skips the period for the month.Just don't do it a lot.Every once in a while is ok.

You should call your doctor to get clarification of how to take your birth control pills. Birth control pills are supposed to be started on the Sunday after your period begins.
