It sounds like something is wrong with your actual game files, this might happen if you modify the game or if you downloaded some custom sounds and stuff from servers you connect to (maps, sounds, models etc.) Try right clicking the game and clicking properties, local content and clicking verify integrity of game files. You can also defragment the cache by clicking 2 buttons below that. Hope this helps ;)
un-install the game and then you have to re-download it from steam , it then updates itself and you should be ok to play it after that.
The easiest would be to re-download Team Fortress 2. Right click on Team Fortress 2 in your games-list, delete local files, and download it again.
If the computer accepts the password (fuzzybunny, and ENTER), then the launch code is the two-word command (launch rabbot, and ENTER). Not sure if any extra spaces might be the problem, or a glitch in the download to start the scene.

In the Launch Room, free the drone and enter the password (fuzzybunny) and the launch command (launch rabbot).
remove quick launch icons and again include them..if it does not work,restart the computer after removing the quick launch and then toggle it on...
