A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus. Removal of the uterus renders the woman unable to bear children. So if you have had a hysterectomy the chances of you getting pregnant is 0%. It is impossible. Sorry.

What are the chances of getting pregnant after having an ectopic pregnancy but didn't loose a tube?

You should still be able to get pregnant. If the other pregnancy was recent, then it is more likely you will be able to get pregnant because you are very fertile after a pregnancy

If you had a hysterectomy can you donate eggs?

if you had a hysterectomy and you can donate sperm, I think there are some people that would like to talk to you..... ---- Yes, so long as you have your ovaries and an intact pituitary gland and hypothalamus, you still have functioning ova, so you theoretically could use those for in vitro fertilization for a surrogate mother, if that was your choice.I'm assuming you mean a male partner will donate the semen.

Is there a way to stop your menstrual forever?

Yes, if you wanted to stop your menstrual cycle forever you could have a hysterectomy. Obviously hysterectomy is a major operation with serious risks and it would mean you'd no longer be able to get pregnant.

Where can I find information about how to have a healthy pregnancy?

If you have medical insurance, your provider will be able to direct you to information on having a healthy pregnancy. If you do not have insurance, your local Health Agency will be able to provide this information free of charge.

Can you have a child if you are forced to have a partial hysterectomy?

No as the uterus will be removed. No woman will be forced to have a hysterectomy and the operation cannot be done unless you have signed a consent form or your life is in danger and you are unable to sign it.

Is it possible to have a baby after hysterectomy?

No it is not. You no longer have a uterus in which to carry the baby. Before having a hysterectomy you might want to consider freezing some embryos if you would like to have children. These embryos could be implanted in a surrogate mother and you would be able to have children that way.

Will a woman still produce estrogen and progesterone after a total hysterectomy?

I had have a hysterectomy and had my tubes tied so can i still get pregnant.?

The chance of this happening is very, very slight. But if you had a partial hysterectomy meaning the lower portion also called the cervix was left intact, and your ovaries were left in place, it is theoretically possible. Very, very unlikely. Your chances of winning the state lottery 3 months in a row and getting struck by lightening on a covered patio during a summer blizzard is probably statistically more likely.

Do pregnancy test work if your tubes are tied?

It is very rare to get pregnant after having the tubes tied, but if you would succeed a pregnancy test would react the same way as always.

Can you get your ovaries and uterus taken out instead of a tubal ligation without any medical issues to prevent pregnancy?

If you have your ovaries and uterus removed to prevent pregnancy then you will need hormone replacement therapy, as essentially your body will assume you have gone through the menopause and wont produce the female hormones you need to have as a woman. This will not only prevent pregnancy, but you will NEVER be able to get pregnant if these are removed. This is called a hysterectomy and is only performed if there is cancer, fiberous tissue, or some other problem. A good doctor will not perform this on a young woman to prevent pregnancy. This is like killing a fly with a atomic bomb.

What does this mean the inability to start a pregnancy after having unprotected vaginal intercourse for more than a year or the inability to stay pregnant for the full length of a normal pregnancy?

What you have described could be more succinctly called female infertility. It means that a woman is not able to have babies.
