This is really good. The properties of Chicken oil in a vehicle cooling system was first discussed today. It is a no no. Chicken oil cannot maintain fluidity at low temperatures thus clogs the automobile's radiator with chicken fat deposits. This Clogged radiator therefore overheats. Overheaing causes high pressure which is soon released from a subsequent blowout of the radiator, hoses or the engine's gaskets. One clue to the probelm here is the pleasing smell of fried chicken.

Will a leaking heater core cause your car to overheat?

A leaking heater core will cause the engine to overheat because the coolant is leaking out.

Why does car overheat?

There could be many reasons. Not enough coolant or bad flow, faulty thermostat, low oil. If the coolant freezes then it will overheat. If your car continues to overheat then you should have the coolant flushed and thermostat replaced.

What can cause 2000 Monte Carlo to overheat?

In the general case, cars overheat because of a bad thermostat, low coolant level, blockage in the coolant system, insufficient antifreeze percentage, fan blockage, or water pump failure.

What are example sentences of the word overheat?

Babies can overheat quickly in this weather. If you overheat the oil, it will burn. Be sure that there's enough coolant in the radiator so that it doesn't overheat.

How do you make a car overheat?

drive it without coolant

Your truck does not overheat but can I still have a cracked block?

Yes you can. A cracked block does not necessarily mean the car will overheat. If a block is cracked at a coolant jacket then coolant will leak out and the car will overheat if the leak is bad enough. If the leak is not very major or if the crack is at a point that does not have a coolant jacket then it will not overheat. A cracked block could leak oil, compressed air/fuel, coolant, or nothing at all and still be cracked. -R. Mesyef

Why is car leaking coolant and not over heating?

Just because there is a leak doesn't mean it will overheat instantly, but if you do not keep adding coolant or fix the leak you will have engine problem

If your car is low on coolant does it cause it to overheat when using the air conditioner What else can cause it to overheat while the air conditioning is on?

Yes, low coolant will cause it to overheat without the AC; that is not the only reason that will cause overheating however.

98 BMW overheats?

what is the question? why it would overheat???? if so: because -thermostat is stuck closed -or no coolant -or head gasket leak -or coolant system leak -or bad water pump -or clog in coolant system -or ......

Why is white smoke coming out from under your hood on the drivers side and in the front?

Because you have a coolant leak. More than likely, from your description, it is a leak in the radiator or radiator hose. Do not let your vehicle overheat. Why does the engine overheat?

AnswerBecause the engine cooling fan does not work properly or does not work at all. There are many reasons which may cause Engine overheat. the above is also one of them.Loss of coolantloss of coolant because coolant leaks from anywhere on the cooling system.Loss of coolant because radiator cap is broken and will cause overheat.Loss of coolant because radiator cap pressure is less than the required.Loss of coolant because compression leak in to the cooling system.Radiator internally blocked. (Heat exchanger blocked, if equipped)Radiator externally blocked. (Air flow blocked)Engine Overloaded (engine can be overloaded because of loss of power due to malfunction of some parts, in this case there must have other symptoms).Thermostat does not direct water circulation to the Heat Exchanger.Engine mechanical condition is not good (Power balance)Engine ignition timing is retarded. After a repair Engine started to overheat.(AC or Radiator fan is rotating wrong direction, polarity changed)

How do you tell if a radiator blew?

You will see coolant pouring from it and your car will overheat

Will your car overheat if you have a cracked head?

Yes! if you have a cracked head chances are your oil and coolant are mixing together and coolant and or oil is leaking out causing the vehicle to overheat... if you have a cracked head fix it! do not drive the vehicle

Is it safe to drive a car when the coolant tube is leaking inside?

No , this coolant is coming from your heater core and you are losing engine coolant ; you need to have this repaired because the engine will overheat and suffer damage that will be more expensive than the repair of the heater core .

Can head gasket leaks destroy an engine?

yes, especially if the leak is causing coolant to leak, you can run out of coolant. then overheat.

If the low coollant level light is on what is wrong?

you need to add coolant to the coolant resevoir. coolant is antifreeze. if you dont have enough in your car you can overheat and damage your engine.

Would blown head gaskets cause your vehicle to overheat as soon as you drive it?

it is possible for heat from combustion to cause an engine to overheat quickly depending on where the gasket is blown, but i would look for a lack of coolant circulation first. if your coolant is not getting out of the motor and into the radiator it will overheat very quickly.

Why does 1993 Ford Tempo Overheat when idling?

Its prob the radiator fan. Or you are out of coolant.

Is thermostat important in a car?

Yes, it controls the coolant flow around the engine block, without coolant the engine would overheat.
