the flasher is black and square not round like most. it is located above the fuse panel on the driver side of vehicle . to the left of the steering column best way to access the flaser is to remove the panel below the steering column your welcome .
Your remote door opener may be the problem. It may be going bad. Leave the remote home and see if that solves the problem
It is under the dash to the right of the steering column near the brake light switch. remove cover toward the fire wall look up . it is on the right hand side, it sets in a clip. pull it out much easier to change. It took only 10 min once I figured out it was not where the manual said it was. I spent about an hour before I went to the fire wall.
It's located on the left hand side of the fuse block. It's the same part as the hazard flasher. Most vehicles use two different parts. It looks like a three prong relay. Since the fuse block has it's back facing toward the side of the vehicle, the flasher is in front of the fuse block. If you would sit in the driver's seat, it would be directly in front of you under the dashboard.
Below steering wheel is a plastic cover, under it is the front fuse block assembly; at bottom right side you will find directional light relay. The Relay is part of the Hazzard Switch as listed below. But before you go out and buy a new one, remove the old and give it a light tap. The module is behind the emergency flasher switch and requires partial disassemble of the dash to access it There are several screws: 2 on the ends under the fuse covers 2 on the panel under the steering wheel and 2 by the odometer Gently pull the face off the dash. Don't break off the clips. A replacement is about $40 from the dealer.

If your hazard lights don't work but your turn signals do work it could be that your Hazard Lamp Flasher needs to be replaced. Your car has both a "hazard lamp flasher" and a "turn signal lamp flasher". Your "turn signal lamp flasher" is working but your "Hazard Lamp Flasher" may not be working. Buy a new "hazard lamp flasher" and install it. The hazard lamp flasher is located behind the instrument panel to the left of the steering column.
