You might have irregular cycles. This just means you don't have your period at the same interval every time. Say this cycle (the time between you period starting and the next period starting) is 36 days, the next one could be 42 days, the next could be 28 days. That's what irregular cycles are. You might have ovulated late. If you were sick or stressed out when you should've been ovulating that can affect when/if you ovulate. You may just be late. You also may be having an anovulatory cycle. Which means that you aren't releasing an egg. If that's the case it may take a long time for you to have your period. You can go to your doctor after about 50 days and have them prescribe you with some medication to get your period and start a new cycle. If you're worried something might be wrong, you can always call and talk to your doctor about your concerns. It's probably not the first time they've ever heard these concerns.
