Depends on how it was damaged. If it was another drivers fault, take it up with their insurance company, by getting estimates of a new door and submitting it to them. If it damaged the vehicle bad enough, by making it unsafe to drive or bending the frame, it would be safer to replace it anyways, rather than repairing it.

Why are you driving a salvaged car. If the car has any value they may pay something. If they damaged something that wasn't already damaged, they might pay something. You may end up having some fault for driving an unsafe vehicle as well if it was salvaged vehicle that was not repaired.

Generally legally no if you are a minor but if you have a valid reason that you feel unsafe it can be investigated and if proven or until a finding an alternate location is used (another relative).
If there ios a person, another vehicle or a large object blocking the forward movement of the vehicle it wold be unsafe to move stopped vehicle.
