- It sounds like your husband has a high opinion of himself giving you permission to see other men when he never asked your permission to see other women. When two people get married it is suppose to be because they love and honor each other. An open marriage is not part of the vows of marriage and is wrong. There are some couples that find having an open marriage healthy for their marriage, but the statistics find this not completely true and the relationships get complicated and messy. No, it is not right for you to agree or enable him giving you permission to have a relationship with another man and seeking revenge is a waste of energy. Since he wants you to see other men then there would be no revenge aimed at your husband by seeing another man. It is wrong and you should tell him to either make up his mind and that you live as a mature married couple or you are filing for divorce!
