i would check to see if the o2 sensors have gone bad they will throw you a check engine light when they go out
I have the same problem. It is the transmission.
I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer and shortly after the Service Engine Soon light came on, my transmission started "slipping" between 1st and 2nd on an automatic. This only happens when the car gets warm on trips longer then about 15 miles.
Maybe you should service the engine soon. :P
time for an oil change
Have vehicle scanned to determine problem
Blown fuse, Broken wire, Bad connection,
wiil a 1999 blazer engine fit a 2002 blazer
unhook battery or scan tool will do it
The service engine soon is the same as a check engine light. It has nothing to do with an oil change.
I had my 200 blazer scanned an was told it was a bad fuel tank cap. I replaced it and the light is still on.
There is a problem with the emmission system are transmission and the computer turns the engine light on to let you know there's a problem. Have engine scanned with a OBDII engine scanner.
You can get a diagnostic scanner to get your check engine light to turn off. It is best to take your car into a service center because the light is on because there is a problem with your car.Ê
Discconect the negative cable from the battery for a few minutes and that should do the trick
really...........nothing. there the same..
