In dbz bt3 why doesnt GT goku turn super saiyan?

The reason is cause well the power up is suppose to make gohans power up to his max right well if he goes ssj then gets knock out and loses it, he wont all ways be at his max power cause all his power was unleashed to it max so I assume he will always be at max thas the best I got!

he turns super saiyan but not super saiyan 2 and then goes to 3 and four when you finish gt saga

So no need to go SSJ because his power level would be the same as his full potential.
