There is no general rule in the matter of which kind of sister-in-law is easier to get along with. It depends, in part, on the maturity of the people involved. Some people can be childish all their lives. If you find you are dealing with someone like that, just be as patient as you can be.
In any case, the husband's brother's wife is not the sister-in-law of the wife, only of the husband.
