Assuming you are talking about high school or secondary school, it's best to bone up on biology, chemistry (inorganic and organic), lots of math and algebra. Also, since you'll be college-bound, work on language arts, because you'll be doing a lot of writing.

You need to go to a 4 year school and get your bachelor's degree in either premed or biology. While in school you will need to take the DAT. Then, once you graduate, you will need to go to professional school. After 4 years of professional school, you become a general dentist. If you want to move on from there and be a specialist, other schooling is required.
