As you first enter the gym there should be a stair case a few steps in front of you and a few steps to your right. Go up that staircase. From there you will reach this platform high up that resembles the shape of a square, walk counter clock wise from that spot until you reach another stair case. Go down that stair case and follow the length of the gym's wall until you reach an arch located on the top right of the gym. (There will be another arch before that but it will lead you into a dead-end so be sure to use the second arch you see while following the length of the gym wall.) After going through the arch you must take a few steps down and move to your left. The walls you will find will show where to stop. A path will show with 2 trainers in it. Battle them and exit through the arch that appears after battling those 2 trainers for it leads directly to the gym leader and brace yourself against her Miltank and Clefairy.
Go up to Goldenrod City and battle the Gym Leader who's a Normal-type trainer
you have to go talk to the guy that makes pokeballs from acorns then go to the well and fight team rocket
Go to the last road in Castelia City, and there should be a sign that directs you to it. It's not difficult to find from there.
To get through the gym, it is best to defeat the trainers first, the search the bins. If a bin has a lever in it, search a bin next to it. If that fails, start over.
If you catch a drowzee, you can trade it for a machop in the goldenrod city mall.
