Because they aren't the "big boxoffice" hyped ones with all the whiz bang car chases and silly scripts. Most of the movies today are made for making the most money in the shortest time and sold to teens who will go see a movie a dozen times. When I see the top 5 movies listed in sales I just laugh because they are never a good adult movie.
