It can be. Sometimes you get cramp like pains due to your uterus stretching. Milky white discharge is probably leukorrhea which is very common during pregnancy. If you have concerns, call your doctor. They get questions like this all of the time...and that is what you pay them for. :)

Is Cramping and fluttering 5 weeks into pregnancy normal?

Cramping without bleeding can happen on and off during pregnancy, in early pregnancy this may feel like strong period cramps, as long as it is not accompanied by bleeding it is usually nothing to worry about. When you notice this, get off your feet for a short time while you drink a large glass of water, (being dehydrated can cause contractions) it should let up. If not call your doctor or midwife. In later pregnancy this is most often Braxton-Hix contractions. As long as there is no bleeding and the cramps subside when you relax and rest, rather than getting more frequent and stronger no matter what you do, all perfectly normal. At any time during pregnancy you start cramping, with spotting, bleeding or notice a clear or tinged fluid leaking from your vagina call your doctor or midwife, ASAP.If you notice after activity you are cramping, get off of your feet and drink a large glass of water. If in an hour the cramping is no better or you are passing any fluid, call your doctor.

Does cramping without period means pregnancy?

Hello there - Cramping without a period doesn't necessarily mean pregnancy sweetheart. It may simply mean your period is approaching but your cramping more than usual for you, or your ovulating, have a tummy bug or any number of things non-pregnancy related. If your period doesn't arrive then do a pregnancy test. Good luck and take care.

Is cramping an early sign of pregnancy?

Yes, cramping *without bleeding* can be an early sign of pregnancy. Below, several women tell their personal experience with cramping and pregnancy:Cramping can be a sign of implantation, which occurs very early in pregnancy. Also, your uterus gets crampy as things start growing! If your period is late, it's time to test.Yes, cramping can be a normal sign of pregnancy. I asked my doctor about it and he said it is the body's way of preparing for the baby.It could be. I was sure I would get my period since I was cramping a lot, but all the cramping was because my uterus was preparing for the baby.I'm about 6 weeks pregnant with my second child and have just started experiencing some cramping that seems to come and go, but no bleeding whatsoever. My doctor says cramping in early pregnancy (unless accompanied by other symptoms like bleeding, fever, etc.) is completely normal.I am six weeks pregnant. I have been having period like cramping for the last 2 weeks. I thought I was going to have my period, but instead I found out that I am pregnant. Don't worry unless the cramping is accompanied by bleeding.Last month on cycle day 27, I took a pregnancy test and it was a very faint positive. Then several tests after that one were negative. Then I began to feel cramps like my period was coming, only lighter in intensity and of less duration, but my period didn't come until 2 weeks later and was heavy with clots. My doctor said that I had a chemical pregnancy - which is basically an early miscarriage, happens in up to 50% of pregnancies, most women don't even know they were pregnant. So while cramping could be a sign of pregnancy, it can also be a sign of your menstrual cycles following an early miscarriage.I am in my first-trimester and cramping as we speak. For about 2 weeks before AF was due, I was experiencing abdominal cramps and discomfort. I think I ran to the bathroom tampon in hand for a week. My normally regular period never showed. I took a EPT and to my excitement, these cramps are just my little one making room.I had cramping as if my period was going to start for a week. I was due for a period on May 3. I decided to take a pregnancy test on April 30th and to my surprise it was positive. So cramping could be a sign of pregnancy. It seems that cramping in a lot of cases is normal but in my case it wasn't. Both times I have been pregnant I had cramping similar to my period. I took HPT that came out positive but when I went to the doctor my bloodwork was not normal and I had miscarriages both times around weeks 7-8. So while cramping can be perfectly normal, sometimes it isn't. Go to the doctor and have them do a blood test so you can have peace of mind.I have a four year old and with my pregnancy with him I had pretty severe cramping from about the week before I found out I was pregnant until I was about 6-8 weeks pregnant and everything was perfectly normal. So try not to stress about it too bad. I worried myself sick and everything was fine.Go to your doctor and get a blood test to make sure everything is perfectly fine, but cramping is probably just your body making room for your child.I had bad cramping with this pregnancy (my second, first was a miscarriage) until I was almost 10 weeks. My OBGYN said he never worries about cramping unless you are also having spotting and/or bleeding. He said in most cases cramping is a very normal sign of pregnancy. I am now 15 weeks pregnant and everything is fine.I just found out I was pregnant today. I was expecting my period 2 weeks ago. I had period-like cramps and the whole time and I had a pad on but nothing. So today my husband and I decided to get a home pregnancy test and it came out positive. So cramps but no bleeding is perfectly fine.Yes - it certainly does. I thought I was getting my period, cramping and lower back ache for a few days. Just done a test and it's positive!I told my husband for over a week that I would be starting my period that day because I was having cramping just like I would for my periods, now my pregnancy test is positive, with the cramping! Who would have thought that cramping could be a good thing?

Pink discharge no period itching no burning?

could be early sign of pregnancy.. Implantation will cause a pink or brown discharge without a period.

Is there any way to know if you are pregnant without taking a test?

The signs vary from woman to woman. But most women claim to just "feel pregnant". Some signs might be cramping, a brown or reddish tinted discharge, feeling tired, nausea. Unfortunately there is really not an absolute sign to tell if you're pregnant without taking a pregnancy test.

Can you be pregnant if you have a headache everyday constantly cramping stretch marks light bleeding or period tender breast?

Unless this is being answered by a doctor, a normal person might not be able to give you an accurate answer. You're best bet is to take a pregnancy test, and then see you're physician for sure thing answers. But without doing those things, it's difficult to tell because most of the symptoms of early pregnancy coincide with PMS. Cramping, fatigue, bloating, breast tenderness, and irritability are all symptoms that can be related to either pregnancy or that time of the month. So I would recommend just going to get a pregnancy test.

Can pregnancy cause a milky white vaginal discharge?

Had a missed miscarriage Lots of cramping without any bleeding Pregnancy test is reading faded but still pregnant What can you do to flush out the pregnancy hormone?

There is NO such thing as a "missed miscarriage". You're either "pregnant" or "not pregnant". You can have a threatened miscarriage, but not a missed one. You cannot "flush out" pregnancy hormones; in fact, drinking lots of water only dilutes the urine more.Go to a doctor for a blood test and exam. These will be the most reliable.

Can you still have cramps before your first missed period?

Hello. Yes you can. Ealy pregnancy symptoms are usually period like cramping but without the period.

If you are 9 weeks pregnant should you have a brown slimey discharge?

I was concerned about this also. I had the brown slimey discharge when I was 8-9 weeks. It seemed to be more whenever I worked out or did things around the house. My doctor told me that the brown discharge is just old blood. The cervix is is full of blood vessels and very sensitive during pregnancy. The discharge could be from recent intercourse or sexual activity. Although it is gross, it is perfectly normal. If the discharge turns to bright red blood with/without cramping, call your doctor/midwife right away! I am now 16 weeks and the baby is perfectly healthy. Hope this helped!

Are you more likely to get pregnant on Depo Provera if you're bleeding?

The effectiveness of Depo Provera doesn't depend on whether or not you are bleeding. It is highly effective whether or not you're bleeding or spotting. You can have sex during times of bleeding without any increased risk of pregnancy.

Backache and stomache cramps light brown spotting when i wipe is it period or pregnancy?

Pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms overlap one another so much it's ridiculous. If you are worried that you may be pregnant, you need to take a home pregnancy test. If you have had sex without the use of protection, you could be pregnant. It does not matter what time of the month it is for you. Even if you did use protection, there is still a small chance you could get pregnant. If you are pregnant, the brown spotting is likely implantation bleeding. The stomach cramping due to your uterus preparing, and the backache is probably uterine related also. But, cramping, backaches, and spotting are also PMS symptoms. Take a pregnancy test.

Is it normal if you are 3 months pregnant and cramping bad?

You can cramp in the first trimester and not miscarry. Miscarriage is more often associated with cramping and bleeding, so if you have both then you have more cause to worry. One without the other is less serious, usually. As always, if you are concerned ask your doctor/midwife.
