Today? Any other communist country.
Vietnam is now a communist country that functions like most other countries.
Back in 1959, North Vietnam was Communist. Until 1975 when the Americans joined the North and captured the south. Now the whole country is Communist. yes the north was communist and it now entirely communist but the Americas did NOT join the north. they went into the south to protect them from the communist because they were afraid of communist invasion as was seen in cuba with the support of the soviets, the other superpower. it wasnt until after 1975 once all the American troops had left ( referred to as vietnamization) that the North captured the south :)
Communist Russia, North Korea, Vietnam, And any other Communist Country. Communism is a military controled Government.
Used to be but not anymore. The communist of Vietnam is not the enemy of The United States anymore and right now they are friends to each other. The answer is no because it's a tie and no country have won the Vietnam war.
This is the main one- South Vietnam and its supporters were not sufficient enough to defeat Communist North Vietnam, who had the help of China and other Communist countries. So the South was defeated, the North took over the South and combined South and North into one country, Vietnam. Due to the whole country becoming Communist many South Viets fled the country as refugees.
South Vietnam are the non-communist side of Vietnam, which supported by the US vastly on war supplies, troops, and other thing to fights against the North Vietnam (the communist side).
WWI and WWII was the good example of the hot war. Vietnam war was the cold war. America supported South Vietnam (democratic part of of Vietnam) While other communist country such as Russia, China support North Vietnam which was communist part. At that time there was a fight between democracy and communist which was called cold war
No. China is officially communist, as are Laos and Vietnam (although one would debate how truly communist these are). North Korea is not officially communist, but in every other respect, it is.
It joined the ranks of other communist countries.
They were both caused by one half of the country being communist, and the other trying to fend their attacks to spread communism off.
Only 1 political party is legal in Vietnam and that party is Communist. There are other parties but they are not legal within the country. The voting rights in Vietnam are very similar to those in the United States; you must be at least 18 years of age.
