Rich people often have an important involvement in large companies. These large companies then employ most of the population. Cashiers at a grocery store are typically not rich people. However, the people who run the company they work for (wal-mart, cub foods, target, etc..) are usually wealthy.
When rich people buy a new car, yacht, house, etc... they help employ the people who build them, mechanics, oil companies, people who work at gas stations, the list goes on.
Rich people help employ the middle/lower class.
I think there are many ways to help bridge the gap between the rich and poor. Firstly you could introduce a sensible maximum wage (a bit like our minimum wage!) Or you could increase the taxes on the very rich and use the taxes to put better resources into getting people out of poverty. I also think there should be a limit on how much property someone can own. Though property is very profitable a house should be a home and not a way of making business and gaining huge capital without doing any work! None of these are going to favourable choices.
The rich should pay higher taxes because they exploited the poor and that is how they got rich. If the rich pay the poor accordingly the poor wouldn't be as poor and maybe not even poor at all. And the rich would still be rich just not as rich. Some rare historical periods regulated exploitation and provided for building middle class, the rich hate the middle class because middle class competes with them. So because of this there is always a struggle between rich and poor. In a perfect world there would be more fairness and less disproportion. I am not calling for absolute equality but one making 400 - 500 times over another is not right. No one works that hard. I am sure the comments below were written by the wealthy and privileged person. They shouldn't. I believe, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that richer people pay a higher % of taxes because they are assumed to "consume" more. Put a person making $25,000 next to a person making $500,000, both consuming the same amount in life and tell me why the more assertive, more persistent, harder working human being making more money should be penalized for his/her effort. Anyone? There's no answer on the internet and this is a sheep concept -- in other words, it is what it is because it's been this way for such a long time. When the top 5% of our nation goes on strike, goes out of business, stops working and puts up a fight, only then will America really address the issue (when the rich are done paying for the poor and unlucky)
Because there's a lot of money in drugs if we talk about selling it. The rich people they see are either on TV in music videos or in their neighborhood selling drugs. It takes no school to get rich with that so many takes risks to try to get it better. When it comes to using and not selling both poor and rich use it as a way to escape or enhance the party feeling.
laboring
yes he did... Whitney invented a way to manufacture muskets by machine so that the parts were interchangeable and made him become rich
The same way they do now. The poor cursed the rich and the rich cursed the poor.
There were differences in the way the rich and the poor made money. The rich invested in monopolies while the poor just made a little bit of money in factories.
Type your answer here... The rich and the poor in India differs in dress, status, and in there way of living.
The middle way is: your not rich or poor your in the middle. (:
One major way that rich and poor were affected differently in the Civil War was the draft. If a more wealthy person had 300 dollars, he could buy his way out of the draft or pay someone to replace him.
Laos Has no political system what so ever , the rich are rich , the poor are poor , its the way it is , it is one of the poorest places in the world and has not yet developed a proper well functioning government Laos Has no political system what so ever , the rich are rich , the poor are poor , its the way it is , it is one of the poorest places in the world and has not yet developed a proper well functioning government

There are more poor people in China than rich people. There might be as many as 500,000 poor people for every "rich" person. China, with a population of MORE than one billion people {1,000,000,000}, has a very skewed wealth distribution. Most countries have more poor people than rich. The only way rich people are able to become rich is by suppressing the poor.
i dont have no idea................srry
To help poor people in a meaningful way.
Robin Hood only steals from the rich so he can pass the money on to the poor, the tax was way to high and the poor were then kicked out so Robin Hood didn't like what they where doing to the poor and got his revenge...stealing off the rich
Well we could go on and on about the differences in the way the rich and poor are treated, but there are a few outlining differences.1. The rich have an influence on the government. ( Prove me wrong i beg you )2. The rich often buy their way in and out of situations. The plain and simple fact is the rich will always have an edge over the poor.People please feel free to add on to my opinion.
