In what ways are solar cells like leaves of plants?
Solar cells are not like leaves of plants in almost every fashion. The similarity is that they both get their energy from the sun, however the solar cell gets this energy in a completely different fashion when compared to a leaf.
chloroplasts are like solar energy plants in a way because solar energy plants make energy from the sun and chloroplast use energy from the sun to make food in a process called photosynthesis but that food makes energy for the plant like a solar energy plant makes energy for my laptop and energy for their little cells
Plants have leaves to undergo photosynthesis which is good for us n the world While most plants have leaves and would not grow without them, there are many kinds of leafless plants. These include such plants as cactus and asparagus, whose photosynthesis takes place in specialized cells consisting of stem-like material, and there are some parasitic plants that intertwine with other plants and tap into their hosts for nutrients.
