There is no height limit for gymnastics. And I am not sure about the age. I am 14 and I do gymnastics and I think that like 16-19 is too old. But there is no age limit

13 is DEFINATLEY not too old to start gymnastics! If you really want to do gymnastics, go for it! You can still learn the skills and compete if you want to. I am 13 and started when I was 11. Yes, it is kind of harder when you are older, but don't let that or anything else discourage you! There are recreational programs for older/teenage beginning students at most gyms, you should try to get into one of those. Gymnastics is such a rewarding sport, you're never to old to do. And who knows, you might learn fast and surprise yourself! You'll love it if you give it a try, I promise. Good luck!

Girl! Your neva! and i mean neva to old to join gymnastics! espicially only 13. I'm a 12 year old level 8 gymnast and i went to a meet and saw a 40 year old woman competing! ha:) but anyways i dont think there are any free gymnastics groups you can join, but i may be wrong. hope this helped!<3

When I was 13 years old, as a gymnastics coach.

You can never be too old for gymnastics. As long as you check the gym for adult classes, and don't have any existing health problems that could hurt you in any way.

of course! they should do what they want....

Yes definatley! I am 13 and I am like at an intermediate level in gymnastics. It is true it's harder when you're older, but if you really like it it shouldn't stop you. You should probably enroll in a beginning gymnastics class for older kids. Be prepared, you might see six or seven year olds at the gym that are better then you, but don't let it discourage you. You're never too old to try something new, especially something as fun as gymnastics. Good luck!

no, because my best friend is on level 4 gymnastics. and she is the best person on our team. and the best friend you could ever have!

a 10 year old is not at all too old to start gymnasticks

No. When she got the first perfect 10 in history for gymnastics, she was 13. She is now 50 years old and still going things with gymnastics.

I'm 13 and I'm in Ultra advanced 3 at my gymnastics place, lol, idk where u go!?

If your not looking to become a professional just for recreation purposes then 13 is fine. But they say that if you do too much before you finish growing, it could stunt your growth. But that's if you're a professional

No! You are never too old to learn!

11 is not to old to start gymastics u could start it at about 5 if you realy wanted to

Find a gym and sign up for classes! You are never too old to start a sport! i started gymnastics when i was 13 and i have learned many things so far!

Yes it is you can start gymnastics at 20

yes i got into gymnastics when i was twelve

For fun, friends and fitness - no. For a competitive career - probably yes.

Yes, far too much. The 13-year old should seek expert advice.

Usually they are 10-13 for boys And for girls 8 -13 but if you start late like say if your a 13 or 14 year-old level 6 then you will be 16 in level seven

No, seven is too young. And 13, while too young, needs to be old enough to know better.

she was 5 years old when kerri strug started gymnastics
