Well it depends on the test. When a woman gets pregnant she produces certain hormones which are found the urine. The pregnancies tests have monoclonal antibodies which connent to those hormones and ''detect'' them. The sensitivity of the test lies on the quality of those monoclonal antibodies. The more specific those antibodies are, the more sensitive is the test. Actually i think there are some tests which can be taken from the first ''delay'' day of normal menstruation, but i don't know how accurate they are. Hope i helped u. Bye
Pregnancy tests detect the presence of the hormone hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in urine. When a pregnancy is conceived and implantation in the womb lining has taken place, hCG is passed from the developing foetus into the mother-to-be's blood via the placental tissue. Because of this, pregnancy tests can only give a positive result after implantation (and not just fertilisation) has occurred.
The length of time between fertilisation and implantation varies between pregnancies and individuals but is on average 6 - 12 days after ovulation. This means that the earliest day you can test and conceivably expect to get a positive result is seven days after you have ovulated. However, you should bear in mind that if you test this early there is a chance that implantation has not yet occurred and you may get a false negative. For this reason it is usually best to take another test 3 or 4 days later.
No, not to worry! Once you get your period after you have already had sex, that confirms that you are not pregnant. It's when you don't get your period after you've had sex that may indicate that you are.
It depends - 2 weeks is the EARLIEST you can test so sometimes it's not very accurate
A week after sex would be too early to get an accurate result. You need to wait 3 weeks after sex.
NO
You should take a pregnancy test shortly after your missed period. That is when a home pregnancy test is most effective. Although I have heard you can do a blood test at the doctor as soon as 2 weeks before your missed period.
You can take a pregnancy test roughly 3 weeks after you had sex
You can take an at home pregnancy test up to 4 days before your expected pregnancy. The longer you wait the more accurate result you get but you can as soon as 4 days before.
Two weeks after conception
after 2 weeks from iui date
It is not too soon. Most pregnancy test will be sensitive enough to pick up hormone levels at this stage. Read the pack or ask the pharmacist to be certain.
2 weeks
4 weeks
You can take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after you had unprotected intercourse and it will be accurate.
yes you can
you can take a pregnancy test whenever you please. if you take it anytime after your missed period though, your test will turn out more effective.
You can take the test now.
