You can't, - it must have an engine block.
A block ring holds the engine firmly in the rocket tube. If not for this, the engine would go up the tube and the rocket would go on fire.
It is located on the engine block, firewall side. You have to jack the thing up, and get it from underneath. Single wire connector. above the oil pan.
only if the trans is from an olds, Buick or Pontiac engine. The bell housing bolt pattern from these engines is different from a chev block
mine is rite behind pass. headlight. find the pos. batt. cable in that vicinity look for the RED jump term. and in front of that is where mine is locxated
Aside from the Fuse/Relay boxes in the engine compartment, there are two inside the passenger compartment. One is on each side of the transmission hump in the front foot area.
I think you have a Buick 430 C.I. 7.0L V8 It should be on the drivers side half way down block .
its at the bac of the engine under the cooler cables
right where the coolant hose enters the engine block
On sides of engine block.
It will have the rocket emblem stamped into the block casting. I don't have pictures of mine or I'd show you. Sorry.
